Australia Day at Seawinds Gardens

Australia House Institute Inc. presents a public Australia Day Ceremony — and community concert and dance — at Seawinds Gardens, Arthurs Seat State Park, on the Mornington Peninsula.

Our history

Building on 2026

Our Australia Day ceremony at Seawinds Gardens has become one of the Peninsula’s valued shared gatherings — outdoors, in a Parks Victoria landscape, marking the national day with care rather than as a private or commercial occasion.

The 2027 ceremony builds on our successful 2026 event, continuing a modern celebration that brings cultures together, including First Nations cultural performance, music, and space for the accessible community to join in.
